Virtual Environment Exposure Therapy


For over three years I worked as a project manager, sound designer, and programmer in the Virtual Environments Group at Georgia Tech's Graphics, Visualization, and Usability Center .

A central research focus of the group is to develop virtual worlds to treat individuals suffering from debilitating psychological phobias.  We tested and developed a number of different environments for treating:

 

In 1997, I assisted in the groupīs COOLVR (Complete Object Oriented Library for Virtual Reality) effort by developing a Windows based spatial (3D) audio engine.
